An Update from Mr Curtis (4.7.25)
It has been a busy few weeks at Hawthorns!
Last week was a VERY busy week for everyone at Hawthorns school as we have celebrated National Schools Sports Week.
This year the theme has been 'Always Active' which everyone certainly has been.
Across the school, children have been involved in different activities and competitions including sports days, trampette sessions, football competitions, bouncy castles, balance bikes, visits to the cycle track and much more.
Well done to everyone and have a good rest over the weekend!
Buttercup class have been on a steam train as part of their topic. Buttercup class had an amazing time at the East Lancs Railway, last week - we went on the train and to the museum. Class grown ups are super proud!!!
Rose Class enjoyed making playdough bees in stage 4 topic session, watering flowers and watching them grow in stage 3 topic session.
In group work we enjoyed making our honey bear bread. And we have had lots of fun with our friends.
Look out for our leavers show and residential next week!
